Xbox 360 Racing Games are INTENSE on my Home Theater Components

I really have to fondly state that I just adore the home theater components that I have in the rather lavish setup that is in my living room – and furthermore that the home theater components that I have are pretty dang powerful, my dear readers. Now most people that I know like to use their home theater components for watching movies or TV, or for listening to their favorite musical artist, but I happen to also have a really awesome Xbox 360 next generation video game console hooked up to the home theater components that are in my living room, and let me tell you that there is nothing that I find quite as enjoyable as playing some awesome racing games on the home theater components, with the knobs all cranked up so that I can hear the roaring of engines, the screeching of tires, and the burning of rubber as I peel out from the starting lineup and take my awesome and supped racecar on a journey around brilliantly designed tracks that just scream awesomeness! Indeed, it is also safe to presume that I am always on the lookout for some more great racing game to add to my collection so that I can really make the most out of my video gaming time and get some awesome usage out of the very capable home theater components that are in my living room.

I am always looking online for new racing video games, because that is where I always turn to find the best values and deals, and of course, the best selections. I already have several great racing games, all that are awesome to play when hooked up to the home theater components in my living room. But after shopping around online today and looking for some more, I found this newer racing game called Race Pro for the Xbox 360 Video Game Console that I really want to get my hands on! This super sweet racing game allows you to get behind the wheel of some pretty awesome racecars and drive around huge open world cities as you drag race competitors. It can also be hooked up to Xbox Live for massive online racers against gamers from around the world! In case you are wondering where I was able to find a copy, I will happily share. The store I found that still has some in stock is called Shopp Rite Mall, located online at: http://www.shoppritemall.com.

This morning that is exactly how I feel. My husband turned on the LCD HDTV when he got out of bed so he could watch the morning news while getting dressed for work, and I commented to him that I'd really prefer to just stay in bed for a few extra hours and be lazy. He didn't say much about my comment, but instead of turning the LCD HDTV out when he finished getting dressed, he left it on. He walked out of the kitchen, only to come back about 10 minutes later with a tray filled with a bagel, coffee and a glass of water. He also brought in my laptop and handed me the remote to the LCD HDTV, which was laying on the night stand beside his bed.

At that point, I wondered if I was going to pinch myself only to realize I'd been dreaming, but that wasn't the case. I commented to my husband that he was wonderful, and he said that since I didn't have anything pressing to do this morning, that I should be able to lounge in bed and watch a CD of some of my favorite oldie shows the LCD HDTV or even catch up on a few things on my laptop. Its mornings like this when I'm convinced I married the most amazing man on the planet.

He headed out the door and I propped up the pillows on the bed and ate breakfast while watching a great CD of classic comedy TV shows. We had ordered the LCD HDTV at Christmas and I can't even imagine how we were ever concerned that we may not get enough use out of the LCD HDTV, because we use it daily.

We found a great price on the LCD HDTV while shopping online for Christmas presents. I also picked up a few classic TV shows on CD like TV Comedy Classics: Love That Bob/Our Miss Brooks that I found at Shopp Rite Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.shoppritemall.com . My husband said the LCD HDTV was a deal we couldn't pass up and I couldn't wait to see the classic TV shows in HD. When the LCD HDTV arrived, he set everything up, and on Christmas morning we had breakfast in bed, followed by watching one of our favorite Christmas movies. It was a wonderful way to start Christmas day.

We also let the children watch our LCD HDTV when we are watching something in the living room and they don't want to watch it. I don't know why we ever went so long without having a second LCD HDTV in the house.

At first, I thought that the Garmin GPS had been sent to our home by mistake, but the box was addressed to me. That threw me off a little, but I couldn't imagine who would be sending me a Garmin GPS, since I'd clearly not ordered it for myself.

Later that morning, my phone rang and it was my brother. He asked if I'd received the package that he'd sent to me. I asked if he meant the Garmin GPS. He confirmed that is what he meant, and the next question out of my mouth was me asking him why he was sending me a Garmin GPS.

He said he'd been hearing tales from mom and dad about me spending time in the woods hiking the last few weeks and he thought it was time that I have something to keep me from getting lost, since my sense of direction isn't the best in the world. So when he saw the Garmin Oregon 200 Portable Navigator that I found at Shopp Rite Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.shoppritemall.com he decided to order it for me. He liked the fact that the GPS was so small and that I could fit it right into the palm of my hand, or the pocket of my jeans. He said he worried about me wandering around in the woods and wanted me to be able o find my way out. I personally thought that the Garmin GPS was one of the sweetest gifts I've ever been given, especially from my brother.

I thanked him, and asked if he wanted to come walking for me when spring rolled around. He said he'd love to, and that he'd bring his own Garmin GPS. He also invited me to join him and his friends for one of their Garmin GPS scavenger hunts. They hold them four times a year and there's one coming up in March. I think that would definitely be fun to be a part of. Whoever is hosting the party that time goes out and hides things in various areas. They give those playing the game, the coordinance to find specific things and they have to use the Garmin GPS to get them there. The person who returns with the most items from the scavenger hunt wins a prize. Sounds like fun to me!

We got our 32" LCD HDTV and the home theater components are all connected and the food is in the refrigerator waiting to be cooked. We're baking a turkey and all the trimmings, and although that's not a traditional Super Bowl meal, we decided we wanted to have a hot, healthy meal instead of nachos and chips. The weather is even going to cooperate for our Super Bowl party. It's going to be cool and rainy, so it'll feel really good to have the oven on and the fireplace burning.

We ordered a Pyle 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV online and it came a few weeks ago. We just love it. The picture is awesome and it was so easy to get all the home theater components plugged into it so we have been enjoying our home entertainment so much since we pulled the LCD HDTV out of the box. We have the DVD player hooked up, the speakers, and are as happy as we can be with our choice in the new LCD HDTV. Our family room has always been the hub of our lives, and it is even more so now because we are really enjoying the features that our new LCD HDTV has. We can even cable our laptop computer up to the TV and watch streaming movies from the Internet, something that is great for watching movies without having to go to rent a DVD.

We also love playing our console games on the new LCD HDTV. The colors are so incredibly vivid and the picture is sharper than anything we could have imagined. I'm looking into getting those exercise console games and spending a few hours a week working out. We may even be able to drop our gym membership, too. We found our new LCD HDTV at Shopp Rite Mall at http://www.shoppritemall.com where we got a great deal on it. It has three power settings, so it's an energy efficient television, too.

The makers of the LCD HDTVs can vary the pixels to save energy, which we appreciate, but we will certainly be using the 1080p setting when we watch the Super Bowl or any other special occasion entertainment that we will certainly love watching on our new home entertainment system. It's going to be a rocking Sunday at our house, and we're glad we are having friends over for the day, the house will smell great with the turkey roasting, a crackling fire in the fireplace, and the game cranking on the new LCD HDTV.

This is a dish I grew up with. In the Pacific Northwest, there is a huge population of Japanese people and just about as many teriyaki joints. It is the perfect meal because it is cheap, healthy, delicious and very filling. Ever since moving away for college and now into California, I’ve struggled to find places that stack up against what I grew up with.

Hoping in the car, I scrolled through the Garmin GPS until coming to the food section. There I narrowed the search down to Japanese and mapped the closest place with Teriyaki in the name. The Garmin GPS got me there in minutes. As soon as I walked through the doors I knew it was going to be good. The menu was in both Japanese and English, there were anime drawings all over the place and the standard bowl was only 5 bucks. It did not disappoint. Now if I could use the Garmin GPS to find something similar near where I live.

The other night my husband and I used our LCD HDTV and home theater components to watch a movie called Bright Star. The movie Bright Star tells the story of second generation romantic poet John Keats and his relationship with a woman called Fanny Brawne. My husband and I rented Bright Star because both of us enjoy period dramas. When I was watching Bright Star on our LCD HDTV and listening to the music and dialogue through our home theater components I thought for a minute about how lucky I am. The entertainment technology in my living room is so advanced I almost live the movies I watch. Watching period dramas on my LCD HDTV almost brings history alive for me. Before televisions were invented we had to rely on our imaginations to make real what we read in history books. Now our imaginations are helped by the realistic images and sounds we see when we watch movies or documentaries using the latest innovations in entertainment technology.

This can be a very annoying and frustrating process when you are trying to operate your home theater components, because you have to literally pick up a different remote controller for each of your home theater components in order to use them. However, my woes have been recently resolved thanks to online shopping and the great deal that I found on an all in one remote control that easily allows for me to operate all of my home theater components without having to switch remotes every five seconds. They make these crazy remote controllers now that have all sorts of awesome features, and the one I got even has a digital touch screen. The coolest part was that programming it was as easy as eating ice cream! The remote I bought has a built in auto programming and scanning feature. It literally found and programmed in and identified all of the home theater components in minutes, and I was good to go!

Broken the Antenna on your Garmin GPS? No Problem!

Garmin GPS navigation systems offer some pretty awesome features, and there are just tons of different models that you can choose from these days, especially if you shop online – where I always tend to find the best sales. I have loved using my Garmin GPS navigation system ever since I first got it, which was about a year ago. Now some Garmin GPS navigation systems actually come with antennas on them, and they are pretty durable units, and the antennas are pretty rugged. However that doesn’t mean that you cannot accidentally damage them from time to time, if you, say, were to drop you Garmin GPS navigation system when you were hiking, like my older brother David did a few weeks back. He calls me up and tells me that his Garmin GPS navigation system is destroyed, because he dropped it while hiking and the antenna snapped right off. He said the Garmin GPS navigation system was working fine, but really getting no reception from the satellite feed because the antenna was gone. He asked me if I knew of any great places online where he could buy a new Garmin GPS navigation system to replace his busted one.

RUBBISH – was the exclamation that I told him when hearing about how he thought that he needed a new Garmin GPS navigation system merely because he broke the antenna. He asked me how in the heck he was supposed to use the Garmin GPS navigation system now that there was no way for it to communicate with the satellites in the sky that feed it information and coordinates. I told him to give me a little bit of time, and I would find out how he could fix that Garmin GPS navigation system without having to pay a bit of money to get a brand new one. Once again, the internet, and the many offerings that it holds, and treasures that can be uncovered, saved the day for my brother. I went shopping online for a Garmin GPS navigation system Garmin VHF Replacement Antenna and I was able to easily find one at a great online store that has some in stock called Shopp Rite Mall—which is located online at this provided web URL: http://www.shoppritemall.com. Once I found the antenna, I was thrilled. I called up my brother and emailed him the product link. Now he can simply order this new one online and not have to buy a brand new Garmin GPS!

One of my brothers is a true NASCAR fan and over the holidays he decided he'd upgrade his home theater components. I thought he had a pretty nice system already, but after he showed me what he ordered online and got set up between Christmas and New Year's, I was astounded. He switched from a LCD HDTV to projection TV home theater components and it knocked my socks off. He bought this Elite Screens Manual Pull-Down Screen that measures 81" x 108", and in feet, that measures over 9 feet wide and almost 7 feet tall. He wants to have a realistic experience when he watches the races, and if he can't get that from this, then he'll have to fly to all the cities where these races are held to get a more authentic view of things.

He said that he saved his discretionary income for about three months to upgrade all his home theater components. He looked around online, found what he wanted, and bought it. He found his home theater components at Shopp Rite Mall, located at www.shopritemall.com, a great site for home entertainment, health supplements, and even jewelry. They also have many things for the kitchen, which piqued my interest since I love cooking. He said he saved a lot of money by getting his home theater components online, and that's something I always have in the forefront of my mind, too.

When I asked him why he decided to go with a projection screen, he said that he liked the idea of the screen being able to be roll it up when it's not in use. He also said that the quality of the projection televisions is really high, and he also likes the portability of the projection TV screens. He has a great backyard, and said that he's going to put a mounting bar on his patio so when the nights are nice, he can sit outside with the family and they can watch TV. He said all his home theater components are super easy to move, so he's killing two birds with one stone by going this route.

We're going to join him for the next NASCAR race to have the experience of being able to watch the races up close and personal. We would much rather stay at home to watch the races than go in person because the traffic is intense, the noise level is high, and it costs a lot more to go than watch the races using our home theater components. Once the racing season rolls around, I'm sure we'll be piling into the car and driving to my brother's house to enjoy his home theater components and the races as if we were right there in the stands cheering for our favorite team.

For some time now a group of friends have been getting together with their Garmin GPS once a month and having these little parties. My husband and I have been going for the past several months, but neither one of us own a Garmin GPS, so we always have to tag along with one of the other couples and can't literally participate in the hunt. The idea of the parties are to go on a type scavenger hunt, and each team has to use their Garmin GPS in order to find the next 'clue'. Each clue leads to a different location, all of which have to be found using the Garmin GPS. The person who finds the last clue and the token brings it back to the hosting couple and they are the winners. In the meantime, they usually call the other teams and tell them it's time to put away their Garmin GPS, because someone else won the prize.

The prizes vary from a weekend away to a dinner out. Sometimes it's something simple, and other times it's more elaborate. One thing is for sure, everyone loves those parties. We always have so much fun, and there is a whole lot of competition between everyone. The time is rolling around for another one of the parties, and my husband commented that we still didn't have a Garmin GPS and he didn't really think it was as fun not having a Garmin GPS because we couldn't really participate, but instead follow someone along for the ride. I know it's his competitive nature coming out, and all he's thinking is about how much he'd like to win a prize. Crazy, but true.

I decided that he's right, that in order to really enjoy ourselves with the parties, we do need to have a Garmin GPS so that we can participate like everyone else. Plus it will put us in the running for a prize if we are the first team to find everything. I decided to go online to see if I could find a Garmin GPS to order for us. I never realized there were so many, but I finally settled on the Garmin Colorado 400c Portable Navigator - 3" Active Matrix TFT that I found for a great price at Shopp Rite Mall whose online store can be found at www.shoppritemall.com/. My husband and I will definitely be taking our Garmin GPS with us when we go to the Outer Banks. We always take our Garmin GPS with us on long road trips. We took our Garmin GPS with us when we went to the Florida Keys. We also used our Garmin GPS to take the children camping last year. We use it when we go to see relatives that live in other states too.
I do not come from the United States. I was born and raised in England. One of the first things I realized about the United States when I came to live here is just how vast the country is. It seems to me that if one wants to see any portion of this great country then having a Garmin GPS is essential.

I have figured out a crazy cool gift to get for my older brother David that will really make him smile. He has some really amazing home theater components at his house in Chandler, and I bought him a game that he will not only enjoy playing, but that will really kick on his home theater components: Guitar Hero for the Xbox 360 video game console. This game is a really cool game, and seeing how David is a seasoned guitarist, he should find lots of hours of joy playing it on his home theater components and his big screen LCD HDTV. He used to be in a band with me way back in the day, but now we all just play music for fun, as we have all grown up. But this game should serve to bring back some fond memories of the past, and allow him to really get some usage out of his new home theater components!

Granted, I do get out sometimes, but as soon as the temps start to rise, you just about won't find me inside, but instead will find me somewhere with a Garmin GPS in my hand, hiking a trail or exploring the woods. In fact, I decided not too long ago that I was going to order a new Garmin GPS before the great weather rolled around and I could get out and start exploring again. Not that there is anything wrong with the current Garmin GPS that I have, they are great products, but my son has borrowed it several times and I thought it would be nice to give it to him. Even though the Garmin GPS is several years old, it works perfectly and my son can use it when he and his friends go hunting for Geocaches, their latest adventures.

I haven't told him that I'm going to give him the GPS yet, but instead I decided to wait until my new Garmin GPS arrives and then I'll give it to him. This time, I decided on the Garmin GPSMAP 60 Portable Navigator that I found at Shopp Rite Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.shoppritemall.com. I found the Garmin GPS for a great price and I couldn't resist. I had been pricing them at a local sporting goods store, so when I saw the price online, I couldn't believe that there was such a price difference. I guess what many people say is true- that you can find many products cheaper online. Rather than waiting until the weather warmed up, I decided to go ahead and order the Garmin GPS and that way I could begin using it and getting the feel of it before spring rolls around. That will also allow me to go ahead and give my current Garmin GPS to my son, whom I know is going to be more than thrilled. He's mentioned wanting one in the past, but I've always told him that he'd have to wait until he was a little older. I guess that time has come. I'll just have to make sure he understands that he shouldn't let anyone borrow it, and that he takes really good care of it, because if he loses it, there won't be a replacement for the Garmin GPS.

At first, I thought that installing the TV wall mount would be touch cookies, as I am not that good at doing anything mechanical, even installing a simple TV wall mount. But the directions that came with the packaging of the TV wall mount that I ordered online were very specific, and I found myself easily installing my flat screen LCD HDTV in moments after getting the TV wall mount in the mail. The TV has some simple screw notches on the back, so all I had to do was attach the TV wall mount to those notches. Then using a tape measure and a stud finder, I was able to mark and drill installation holes on my wall. All in all, it took me about an half an hour to get my TV up on that living room wall. Now, it just makes the whole room look that much nicer, and every time I pass through, I always glance at that flashy, wall mounted TV with a coy smile on my face!

These are basically tracks a DJ creates after combining many similar sounding songs into one. They don’t have to musically be similar, sometimes the lyrics of the songs included all follow a similar focus. One of my recent favorites to play on the home theater components is attached below. It is a mix between vintage Stevie Wonder and new hip hop verses. All of it is mixed behind a positive up beat bass and instrumental line. Hope you enjoy it if for nothing else the pure creativity.

<--So Clean on Home Theater Components

My home theater components were a great deal online and have worked out to be my best purchase of 2009. That's why I usually wait to make major purchases of big ticket electronics items like LCD HDTV 1080p sets and other home theater components until after Christmas, or in the big sales that always occur the day after New Year's. Do you know why buying after holidays is the best strategy for bargain hunters? Easy. Stores usually stock up to be ready in case there's a big demand for a certain item, like the new big screen 1080p TVs that have recently come down in price drastically. Whatever the brick and mortar and online vendors don't sell during the holidays they want to get rid of quickly to make room for the next round of new models with all of their advanced features. So, if you're not one of those people who's obsessed with being a first adopter of any new technology, you can pick up some real bargains if you're patient, and you do your research about where to find the best prices. Frankly, even though Christmas is technically over, the buying season is still pretty much in full swing, which is why I prefer to shop for stuff like home theater components an, LCD HDTV sets and the like at online shopping malls. I've really had my fill of hassling with finding a parking place in crowded parking lots, pushing my way through crowds, sometimes even finding the darn shopping cart. Who needs that hassle. So,whenever I can, I opt for shopping online. True you have to pay for the shipping, but with gas prices the way they are, I figure it all comes out pretty much even. That said, I felt that I pretty was lucky to find the Shopp Rite Mall (http://www.shoppritemall.com) when I decided to go shopping for a new TV wall mount and some other home theater components.
Even though I only intended to buy some lower priced stuff, the TV wall mount and home theater components, Shopp Rite Mall's competitive prices convinced me that I should go ahead and spring for a big flat-screen TV too. The one I finally settled on was a Haier HL42R 42" LCD TV. Haier's not a brand I'm too familiar with, but the range of features it provided for the price seemed like a good value, especially for someone like me who's a real movie nut and wants to eventually create real surround sound in my home through purchasing the right home theater components. For me to, one of the nicest things about ordering online is that it will be delivered to my second floor apartment and I don't have to con one of my long-suffering pals into helping me schlep this monster box up the stairs. Leave that kind of stuff to the professionals, I say.
