home theater components, lcd hdtv Besides the Christmas tree lights, our home theater components got a big workout over the holidays, and when I take down the lights today, we'll be creating a cozy winter ambiance with the fireplace and the movies we watch on our home theater components. When we bought our LCD HDTV, we didn't get one with a built in DVD player, realizing that we could use the one we already had, but we did get surround sound speakers for it to recreate sound as if we are in the movie scene, itself.

Between the fire crackling and the great sound we have, watching movies at home during the winter is one of our favorite things to do. We were looking forward to having the fireplace burning, the tree lights blinking, and the movie playing over the holidays, but there were too many no burn days so we couldn't use the fireplace. But winter isn't over yet and we still have plenty of evenings to enjoy our home theater components and build a toasty fire at night. And we will because our LCD HDTV and home theater have become the grand central station of our family's life.
