home theater components, lcd hdtvOne of my brothers is a true NASCAR fan and over the holidays he decided he'd upgrade his home theater components. I thought he had a pretty nice system already, but after he showed me what he ordered online and got set up between Christmas and New Year's, I was astounded. He switched from a LCD HDTV to projection TV home theater components and it knocked my socks off. He bought this Elite Screens Manual Pull-Down Screen that measures 81" x 108", and in feet, that measures over 9 feet wide and almost 7 feet tall. He wants to have a realistic experience when he watches the races, and if he can't get that from this, then he'll have to fly to all the cities where these races are held to get a more authentic view of things.

He said that he saved his discretionary income for about three months to upgrade all his home theater components. He looked around online, found what he wanted, and bought it. He found his home theater components at Shopp Rite Mall, located at www.shopritemall.com, a great site for home entertainment, health supplements, and even jewelry. They also have many things for the kitchen, which piqued my interest since I love cooking. He said he saved a lot of money by getting his home theater components online, and that's something I always have in the forefront of my mind, too.

When I asked him why he decided to go with a projection screen, he said that he liked the idea of the screen being able to be roll it up when it's not in use. He also said that the quality of the projection televisions is really high, and he also likes the portability of the projection TV screens. He has a great backyard, and said that he's going to put a mounting bar on his patio so when the nights are nice, he can sit outside with the family and they can watch TV. He said all his home theater components are super easy to move, so he's killing two birds with one stone by going this route.

We're going to join him for the next NASCAR race to have the experience of being able to watch the races up close and personal. We would much rather stay at home to watch the races than go in person because the traffic is intense, the noise level is high, and it costs a lot more to go than watch the races using our home theater components. Once the racing season rolls around, I'm sure we'll be piling into the car and driving to my brother's house to enjoy his home theater components and the races as if we were right there in the stands cheering for our favorite team.
