History Made Real With Our LCD HDTV |

 In our living room is a large LCD HDTV with matching home theater components. The other night my husband and I used our LCD HDTV and home theater components to watch a movie called Bright Star. The movie Bright Star tells the story of second generation romantic poet John Keats and his relationship with a woman called Fanny Brawne. My husband and I rented Bright Star because both of us enjoy period dramas. When I was watching Bright Star on our LCD HDTV and listening to the music and dialogue through our home theater components I thought for a minute about how lucky I am. The entertainment technology in my living room is so advanced I almost live the movies I watch. Watching period dramas on my LCD HDTV almost brings history alive for me. Before televisions were invented we had to rely on our imaginations to make real what we read in history books. Now our imaginations are helped by the realistic images and sounds we see when we watch movies or documentaries using the latest innovations in entertainment technology.
