Did you know that not all Garmin GPS units actually come with the required software for all major states, cities, and in this case, National Parks? I had always assumed that my Garmin GPS unit just simply hooked up to the satellites in the sky and they transferred the necessary information to the Garmin GPS unit so that it could function. But in reality, there are actually software packages that you have to purchase that can make using your Garmin GPS unit that much more…well useful. I plan on going around the country at certain points during the following year, and I have been shopping around online for some Garmin GPS units software of all of the National Parks in the US so that I know where I am going once I am there. While I was looking around today I found a great store that has this awesome Garmin GPS Garmin National Parks Software Package that should do just the trick. Apparently it offers some insight, trail guides and much more. This should make my 2010 interstate treks that much more memorable!
