Have you ever been driving and you were not paying that much attention to your gas meter, and you suddenly realized that you were about to run out of gas and be stranded, or worse, be walking for miles carrying that empty gas can as you try to find a local gas station. This was me the other day, after dropping my friend off at the airport. I noticed that my gas gauge was very low; I was running on fumes. No worries, I told myself, I simply took a look at my Garmin GPS unit – which is connected to MSN Live Traffic; a feature that comes with some Garmin GPS units – and it told me where the nearest gas station was. Luckily for me, the Garmin GPS unit was able to find me a gas station that was really close by. I was able to pull my car in just as it was chugging on its last legs. I can’t tell you how many times that my Garmin GPS unit has come through for me—but this time has got to be the most recent one, and one that I won’t soon forget about!
