1080p hdtv, tv wall mount I have been watching the cost for a 42” 1080p HDTV for the past few months to see where the pricing is headed. Being a media enthusiast, I figure a 1080p HDTV is a great investment. What I have noticed while watching online prices is that they have come down a few hundred dollars since the start of 2009. I figure it has something to do with stirring up business during the recession. For those that can afford a 1080p HDTV, it makes a lot of sense to buy because it will inherently save cash down the road that would go towards other one time forms of entertainment.

I can just imagine the day I unwrap the 42” 1080p HDTV, place it on a TV wall mount, kick the feet onto the coffee table and be blown away by how much clearer my video games are. I have gone so long without 1080p HDTV that lesser video quality really doesn’t bother me. But I know as soon as I make the glorious switch there will be no going back to standard television. I’ll spend a entire weekend rewatching favorite DVDs and playing video games for no reason other then how vivid 1080p HDTV makes video. I’ll be like a kid in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. I can’t wait for that day. Until then RGB is going to have to be for me.
