I don’t know about you, but I think that the LCD HDTV is one of the best television inventions ever.  This weekend, I was ordering my parents the LCD HDTV that they’ve been wanting, and we got in a conversation of how huge the old television was that they had in the living room when I was growing up.  I won’t ever forget that thing.  In fact, once we started talking about it, we pulled out some old family pictures, and that huge television looked like a giant wooden box in the middle of the living room.  It was so ugly, although at the time, we thought it was the greatest thing ever. The sound quality was horrible, and forget a remote control, you had to get up and turn up the volume yourself.  We couldn't help but laugh when we looked at the picture of the LCD HDTV on the site where I was ordering it from, and comparing it to the old ‘box television’. Times have definitely changed.  Not only in size and the fact that an LCD HDTV can be mounted on the wall so it takes up hardly any space, but also the picture quality on the LCD HDTV is so much better.  I wonder what the future holds in TV technology.
